Design Notes

The TEV protease can only function when it gets close enough to the recognition sequence. Thus when adapting the TEV protease and recognition sequence to your device, make sure they could contact each other under some conditions.


Source

The TEV protease is initially discovered in Tobaccoetchvirus(TEV),and the protease can recognize the petite sequence Glu-Asn-Leu-Tyr-Phe-Gln-Gly/Ser and cut it between Gln and Gly/Ser. We synthesise it according to its sequence which is publicly accessible.
